1987 - Larry Wall 이 키보드 앞에서 잠이 들어 이미가 키보드에 닿았다. 그가 깨어났을때, 그의 모니터에 찍혀있는, !#DFHASF 같은, 글자들을 보고, Larry Wall 은 깨달았다. 그 문자들은 사실 신이 그의 선지자인 자신이 만들길 원하는 프로그래밍 언어의 예라는 것을. 이것이 Perl 의 탄생이다.

This reminds me the quotes from Steve Jobs when he asked about the role of design:

2. 사실 까놓고 보니, 실제로는 개인자산 수치는 2001년 보다도 못함.
3. 자, 이제 니들 좆됐음.. 자산을 정리해서 빚을 갚으려고 하면 자산 가치가 하락함. 저축률을 늘리자니 소비침체로 이어져서 불황은 더 깊어짐.
4. 이 악순환을 막는 길은 오직 하나, 공공 자금을 투입하는 길뿐임. 세계2차대전이 대공황을 끝마치고 개인부채를 모두 없앴으며, 경제가 새출발할 수 있도록 되었던 것을 기억하길 바램.
